About the Course:
The course is aimed at respiratory physicians, immunologists, allergists and other specialities who are interested in the diagnosis and management of upper airways disease. There is a focus on integrated medical and surgical management. Modern concepts of airways disease, inflammatory processes and an evidence based approach will be discussed.
There is a 'hands on' rhinoscopy cadaver lab, on Thursday evening, with an instructional session on rigid and flexible endoscopy of the upper airway. Live surgery is planned on Friday morning in conjunction with the broader surgical course. Lectures and discussions will prepare the participants for the two sessions.
