Invitation to Attend
It is my personal pleasure to invite all who are interested in the advancement of Otorhinolaryngology, from both its clinical and basic science aspects, to attend Frontiers 2012. This will be the eighth in the series of biennial conferences sponsored by the Foundation. And what a fabulous conference it promises to be!
These conferences are designed to be intensely stimulating and remain unique in Australia. They will certainly “blow your mind” and extend your knowledge, and are, not surprisingly, generating serious interest all around the world.
Each conference has, in the past, showcased a selection of work directly funded by the Foundation but I have determined that they must now go well beyond this. Nothing is “off-limits” any longer. Through the personal selection of topics of direct and lateral interest, and by searching out superb International and Australian experts from widely diverse fields, I am certain that Frontiers 2012 will provide a unique experience at the very forefront of knowledge for all those who attend.
Frontiers 2012 will provide a convivial forum for clinicians and scientists to meet, to renew friendships and to develop collaborative relationships. This is, unashamedly, one of the aims of the Foundation, which is privileged to be able to assist in creating the opportunity for Australia to become a world leader in the discipline.
A very warm welcome awaits you in Melbourne once again.
I am excited and I hope you will be too. Don’t miss this one. It will be terrific!
