Faculty:   We are extremely fortunate to have the world leaders in endoscopic skull base surgery as our guests of honour at this course.  Amin Kassam and Ricardo Carrau, formerly from the University of Pittsburgh and now from the John Wayne Cancer Institute, have built a reputation as the world leaders in this field and we are privileged to have them share their knowledge. Their expertise is complemented by a very experienced local faculty of ENT and Neurosurgeons.


Key Note Lectures on skull base anatomy and the surgical approaches to the posterior fossa, pituitary cavernous sinus, sub and supra-chiasmatic regiions and middle cranial fossa to be given by leading experts.


Cadaver dissection demonstrations and hands on directed surgery of all standard sinus surgical techniques including posterior ethmoidectomy and sphenoidotomy; pituitary surgery and cavernous sinus surgery; pituitary translocation; transphenoidal middle cranial fossa approaches; extended pituitary exposure for supra sellar extension of tumour nerves, and much more.


Panel Discussion on management of selected tumours of the posterior and anterior cranial fossa and difficult pituitary tumours.
